WayInc collects and uses personal data to provide its website, business-structure guidance and contact services. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Account, assessment and contact information
When you create an account, Supabase provides WayInc with your account identifier, email address and, if you use Google, basic profile information made available through Google sign-in. We save the assessment answers and recommendation, and any provider contact requests you make, with that account. Creating an account does not create a contact request or give WayInc permission to contact you about provider services.
When you separately request help, we collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred registration timing and optional notes. We link that contact request to the relevant assessment only after you give the stated contact consent.
Website and cookie information
When you visit WayInc, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral source and interaction data. Cloudflare processes limited technical information to deliver and protect the site. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics and PostHog may use cookies or similar technologies for website measurement, product analytics and error tracking. If you are signed in, PostHog also associates this activity with your account identifier and email address.
2. How we use information
We use personal data to provide and improve WayInc, show recommendations based on your answers, respond to requests for help, communicate about relevant corporate-secretary services where you ask us to do so, maintain site security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
WayInc’s assessment provides general guidance. It is not designed to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
3. Service providers
We use carefully selected providers to operate the website and manage enquiries. These may process personal data on our behalf only as needed to provide their services:
- Supabase for authentication and securely storing accounts, assessments, provider contact requests and submitted contact details.
- Google for Google sign-in and, when you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics website measurement.
- PostHog for product analytics and error tracking when you allow analytics cookies. If you are signed in, this includes your account identifier and email address.
- Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery and security.
- Resend and Lark for sending and receiving email, such as sign-in links, confirmations and replies to your requests.
We may update these providers as our services change. We will update this policy if a material change affects how your personal data is used.
4. Cookies
WayInc uses essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and preserve an assessment during sign-in. Google Analytics and PostHog tracking only load after you allow optional analytics cookies through WayInc’s cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
5. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with our service providers, professional advisers, or authorities where required by law. Our providers may process data outside Singapore. When this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data receives a standard of protection consistent with applicable data-protection requirements.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, maintaining records and meeting legal obligations. If an account is deleted, its account link and provider contact requests are removed; the assessment record may be retained without that account link so WayInc can maintain the integrity of its assessment records. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or ask us to delete information where applicable. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
8. Children
WayInc is intended for adults seeking business guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
